Places To See

Much Wenlock Church Shropshire

We can recommend local country pubs that located within 10 minutes from North Farm, one being the Plume of Feature, and the other being The Riverside which overlooks the River Seven. Both have a good outstanding selection of Beers, Wines and menu's using locally sourced produce.

Much Wenlock is a must to visit as well as Shrewsbury. This picturesque village is full of history, Black and White buildings and a wonderful place to investigate. Not forgetting the starting place of the modern Olympic Games. From here you can drive along the Wenlock Edge, which is a long elevated ridge to Church Stretton, but you must stop along the way to see the magnificent views of Shropshire and into Wales.

View over Long Mynd Shropshire

Once in Church Stretton, many of the valleys can be visited, the most popular being the Carding Mill Valley. The town is surrounded by many large hills, Longmynd, Caradoc and Lawley to name just a few. If you can make the drive to the top of the Longmynd it will take your breath away.
